Bad news: No change.
Sorry, I didn’t do any writing on Thursday. I’m writing this on Friday, so I don’t remember all the details. I believe it was a day of the same from beginning to end for Mike. He was awake and often complaining, I was trying to write up Wednesday’s log. So, it was up and down for me for much of my time here. The whole day was pretty exhausting. I was so tired. I fell asleep in one of the chairs. None of them are terribly comfortable, but I seem to have a talent for falling asleep. I placed a pillow under my hips, so my back wasn’t curved, and another chair to support my legs. That worked out well. When I got up, my back wasn’t in worse shape and may have been slightly better.
Damon, Cylin, and August arrived in the late afternoon. I joined them for dinner at the Prince Waikiki restaurant. It was a pleasant break from my usual routine. Then I went back to the hotel. I spoke to my friend Judy all along the way. She’s my new mother; I have to check in with her to assure her that I arrived safely and am okay.
Dorothy, my sister, and Jean, Damon’s mom, would be coming in tomorrow, and Randy, Mike’s sister, on Saturday.
