I told Dorothy about the problem I had with my right foot, specifically the right half of my right foot. My acupuncturist said it didn’t look like an infection but rather an edema. The liquid is gathering in this area. The acupuncturist said it was on the gall bladder meridian. Dorothy had two suggestions. She strongly recommended that I see a medical doctor. This problem had already persisted for two weeks. I thought it was a good idea and made an immediate appointment. The earliest one I could get was July 16. My foot may be better by then, hopefully. Dorothy also had information on how to deal with lymph drainage. She said to start working at a point furthermost from the site of the pain. I started using the meridian energy acupuncture pen for this purpose. The swelling went down, as did the pain.
Judy called after church. Adam fully recovered from unidentified flu. Jazzy was still struggling. She seems to recover from illness more slowly than Adam. Leon, their six-year-old, had a mild case of the flu, but Luke, the disabled child, and Zion, the one-year-old, dodged the bullet.
I spent the day recovering. Things are not going well on a personal level. I have been distressed. I did get some yard work done. I sprayed the yard with vinegar killing weeds in the front yard and along the fence in the front of the house, but I spent most of the day napping and reading. In the evening, Elsa and I hid in the library, where I could close off the outside world. I also turned on the air conditioner and watched TV. While I didn’t get to see the firecracker show, Elsa was unaffected. She rested calmly on the floor while I watched The Great Britain Baking Show. What a delight! Everyone is nice to everyone. Ah!!!
