The respiratory therapist has changed his
breathing mechanism again. He has upped the pressure of the input to 75%, I
think. The object is to help him more effectively push out the Co2 in his
lungs. This is still not a tube pushed down his throat. Also, he is still breathing very
quickly. When he exhales, it sounds like
he's playing the kazoo. I'm thinking he 'd taken up a musical instrument, and
he's not doing a very good job.
The good news was that he is not
restless. I felt much better with the
Catholic programs on his computer doing the job, a better job, of calming him
down that I could do on my own. I was
sitting in his room doing other things.
BUT, always listening, listening to what is going on.
