I woke up at 5 am again. I should just get up and do what I can, like work on the blog or my book on teaching reading, even dusting. Josh has his shower at 5 am. I can almost set my clock by it.
My tush felt better this morning. I think the infrared light is working in the long run, even though it doesn't seem to do anything for me immediately after the treatment. Last night, I tried it on Elsa, irritated skin. I hope it doesn't do harm. There's a difference in size between Katherine's horse and my 12-pound dog.
I've been doing line walking. As I climbed up the hill, I counted 200 steps and saw no change in the pedometer count. I suspect I am doing 'glide walking.' This is how Esther Gokhale described the walk of the African tribe she studied. I feel like I'm gliding.
I didn't do much again today. I worked on the blog and called my friend Carol in Maryland. They are on lockdown. She said the police probably won't enforce it unless it is a flagrant violation of the order. She walks on a promenade on the Chesapeake Bay waterfront in their town, maintaining the necessary distance. The path has been converted to a one-way to help ensure social distance.
I have been tired again. I slept a lot. I squeezed two bags of lemons. When Elsa and I started on our before-dinner walk, Yvette yelled hello from the driveway. She told me to hold on while she grabbed a jacket. She joined us. The sunset was spectacular. The ones with great cloud cover are more spectacular than the sun sinking below the horizon in a clear sky.
